I'm Maria, The founder and practitioner behind Sculpted Radiance.

With more than 19 years of nursing experience, I have spent my career caring for people within specialist clinical environments where safety, assessment, communication and attention to detail are essential.

My passion for aesthetics developed from wanting to combine that clinical experience with my interest in skin health, facial aesthetics and helping people feel confident in themselves.

Sculpted Radiance was created to provide a more personal approach to aesthetics. 

MY APPROACH

I Don't Believe In Changing Who You Are.

Aesthetic medicine has changed enormously, but I believe one thing should remain at the centre:

You should still look like you.                                                                       I'm passionate about subtle, natural-looking enhancement.

That might mean softening the appearance of expression lines, restoring hydration to tired-looking skin, improving skin texture or adding subtle definition to the lips.

It doesn't mean everyone needs treatment.

It means understanding what you want and deciding together what is appropriate.

 

My Clinical Background

I am a Senior Registered Nurse, my area of speciality is Cardiology, particularly Coronary Intervention, providing specialist and emergency care proudly within the NHS. I currently hold a full registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), and have remained on their register since 2007, Also I am a dedicated member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) since the same year.

My Nursing career has given me extensive experience in patient assessment, clinical care , communication and safety.

As a registered nurse, I understand that every treatment comes with responsibilities.

That's why consultations matter.

Your medical history, current medications, allergies, previous treatments and individual circumstances all form part of the decision-making process.

I hold CPD-accredited certificates in all treatments offered, and I am fully insured with Insync Insurance.

Your safety will always come before a sale.

Behind the Scrubs

Although nursing and aesthetics are a huge part of my life, there's much more to me than my clinic and my career.

I'm a mum to two beautiful children, wife to an amazing husband, friend, business owner and a self-confessed coffee snob!

When I'm not working, I love nothing more than spending quality time with my beautiful family. I love getting away together, exploring new places, going on little adventures and holidays, and most importantly, making those special memories that we'll look back on for the years to come.

Family time is incredibly important to me, and I'm a big believer that life is about making memories, enjoying experiences and spending time with the people you love.

Friends, Food & A Little Fizz

I'm also a very social person and absolutely love spending time with my friends. Give me a good catch-up, plenty of laughs and a bottomless brunch, and I'm happy.

I think there's something really important about making time for the people around you, stepping away from the busy parts of life and simply enjoying yourself.

And Then There's Coffee....

Lets just say I'm slightly particular when it comes to coffee! I'm a self-confessed coffee snob, and I definitely have my favourites. My go-to coffees: 'Flat White' OR 'Caramel Latté.

More Than A Business

Sculpted Radiance is something I've built with a huge amount of passion, and getting to know my clients is one of my favourite parts of what I do.

I want you to feel comfortable when you walk through my door. I want you to feel listened to. I want you to feel that you cab ask questions, tell me exactly what you're hoping to achieve and trust that I'll always give you my honest opinion. Because although I take the clinical side of aesthetics incredibly seriously, I don't think your appointment needs to feel clinical and cold. I want it to feel personal. A little bit of expert advice, a little bit of pampering, plenty of conversation- and, if you're lucky, perhaps a coffee chat too!
